Q.  What kind of guitar does Vincent play?
A.  Over the years, Vincent has performed and recorded on many different guitars - Takamine, Alvarez and Taylor. Vincent recorded his CD Where the Mountains Touch the Sky on a Takamine 132 CE. Today, Vincent performs and records exclusively on his new custom- made Doolin and Breedlove guitars.

Q.  What kind of musical training did Vincent have?
A.  Vincent started playing the guitar at age six and has studied with many teachers over the years. Noted teachers were Hank Bryant and Skip Anna, who still teaches at Music & Arts in Bowie, Maryland.

Q.  Which guitarists have had the greatest influence on Vincent?
A.  In Vincent’s early teens, he was a big fan of Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, UFO's Michael Schenker, Randy Rhoads with Ozzy Osbourne and Yngwie Malmsteen. Later, he became interested in fingerstyle/classical playing and was influenced by Alex de Grassi and Manuel Barrueco.

Q.  What kind of strings does Vincent use?
A.  Vincent uses D'Addario strings exclusively. For nylon string guitar, Vincent uses D’Addario Pro Arte EJ46 Hard Tension and for steel string, Vincent prefers EJ16 Phosphorus Bronze Light Gauge 12-56. For electric guitar, he uses Prosteel XL 10-46.
